The COVID 19 pandemic has brought about serious health, economic and social repercussions. Containing the pandemic and responding to the social and economic effects of  the pandemic has brought about serious challenges to our government.

What we do

The Social Protection Actors Forum aims at strengthening civil society engagement through advocacy, formulation, and implementation of social protection policies in Kenya. The forum draws membership from non-governmental organizations, faith-based organizations, and community-based organizations and other stakeholders’ including the private sector, – whose core mandate is working with people with disabilities, children, older persons, and other vulnerable members of the society.

Budget Analysis and budget tracking

We are interested in the basic spending of the government on social protection given that it is one of the recent areas of interest for governments and development partners.

Social Accountability for Social Protection.

Our social accountability programme aims to empower citizens and beneficiaries of social protection programmes to hold the government accountable in the delivery of social protection programmes.
